This collection is my favorite from the sequenced synthesizer days. There's a lot in here, but I like all of it. One thing
I did do recently was to change the name of Balloons to Goldenrod Road. Eventually there will be a lot more pics and info
about these songs. The first 8 tracks are essentially "the album", and the remainder are B-Sides and shorter ideas.
Living in a Television Set here is an instrumental, but the vocal version has some good lyrical ideas, I might post this soon.
Conception is the scientific story of reproduction, culminating in the moment for which the song is named.
Hovering Pod is the soundtrack to an alien abduction, and will be one of my first upcoming digital re-recordings.
I lived in Winter Park, FL in a townhome apartment called The Park, then moved next door to The Glen, off Goldenrod Rd.
The aircraft and tower recordings in NNI were recorded simultaneously between two tape decks in Isla Verde, PR in late 1991.
Empyreal Array's hectic Saga-influenced intro theme (called March of Eden) was composed in Isla Verde, PR around this time as well.
The beautiful mid-section was composed in Pflugerville (near Austin), TX. Additional work on transitions and drum tracks completed in Tampa, FL.
Foundation was a breakthrough composition for me, which led to Firmament, which was first composed on Phil's small toy Casio.
